Ingredients

  • 2 pounds medium raw prawns (peeled/deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 8 tablespoons vegetable broth
  • 6 tablespoons half and half
  • 1/2 cup cilantro (fresh leaves)
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1/2 - green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup parsley (fresh leaves)
  • 2 - jalapenos, fresh
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 - lemon
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

How To Make lemon pepper prawns

  • Step 1
    prepare salsa dice equal parts tomatoes, bell pepper, onion in 1/4" squears remove seeds from jalapenos and mince chop parsley and cilantro mix ingredients in bowl add salt to taste let stand
  • Step 2
    preheat olive oil in large pan add shrimp and fry over high heat. cook for 1-2 minutes per side when almost done, sprinkle flour in pan with shrimp. stir
  • Step 3
    reduce heat. addjuice from lemon (approximately 4tbsp), half and half and broth to pan. stir. add 3tbsp of salsa. stir
  • Step 4
    place contents on platter and serve
