Ingredients

medium raw prawns (peeled/deveined)
2 Tbsp
flour
8 Tbsp
vegetable broth
6 Tbsp
half and half
1/2 c
cilantro (fresh leaves)
1/2 medium
onion
1/2
green bell pepper
1/2 c
parsley (fresh leaves)
2
jalapenos, fresh
2 medium
tomatoes
1
lemon
3 Tbsp
olive oil

How to Make lemon pepper prawns

Step-by-Step

  • 1prepare salsa
    dice equal parts tomatoes, bell pepper, onion in 1/4" squears
    remove seeds from jalapenos and mince
    chop parsley and cilantro
    mix ingredients in bowl
    add salt to taste
    let stand
  • 2preheat olive oil in large pan
    add shrimp and fry over high heat. cook for 1-2 minutes per side
    when almost done, sprinkle flour in pan with shrimp. stir
  • 3reduce heat. addjuice from lemon (approximately 4tbsp), half and half and broth to pan. stir. add 3tbsp of salsa. stir
  • 4place contents on platter and serve
