    butter
  • 6
    cod filets
  • 3
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried parsley
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon pepper

How to Make Lemon Butter Filet

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Mix in lemon juice, salt, pepper, parsley flakes and garlic. Bring to boil.
  4. Cook and stir about 10 minutes, until thickened.
  5. Arrange cod filets in a single layer on a medium baking sheet.
  6. Cover with 1/2 the butter mixture and sprinkle with lemon pepper. Cover with foil.
  7. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in preheated oven, until fish is easily flaked with a fork.
  8. Pour the remaining butter mixture over the fish to serve.
