keenan's tilapia recipe

A good friend gave me this recipe when she told me my picky then 13 yr old ate it up. His early years in Jamaica gave him a very difficult palate to please when it comes to fish. You can adjust the jalapeno to taste or eliminate it all together. Debbie (Keenan) says this works well for chicken too. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 3 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 bunch chopped cilantro
- 1/2 - jalapenos, fresh minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4-6 pcs. - fish fillets or chicken breast

Step 1For marinade,combine the first nine ingredients in tupperware (I use a large ziploc bag)

Step 2Add your fish or chicken and toss to coat

Step 3Cover and refrigerate for several hours (the longer the better, but at least two hours)
