Ingredients

3 lb
shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tsp
chicken boullion
1 c
water
5 Tbsp
butter
1/2 c
minced onion
6 Tbsp
flour
2 1/2 tsp
curry powder (green or red) depending on what you like
1 1/4 tsp
salt
1 1/2 tsp
sugar
1/4 tsp
ginger
2 c
milk
1 tsp
lemon juice

How to Make Indian Curried Shrimp

Step-by-Step

  • 1Dissolve bouillion in water. set aside
  • 2In a large saute pan, melt butter and then add onions, cook slowly and stirring until the onions start to get tender.
  • 3add curry powder, salt sugar, ginger and flour to the butter/onion mixture. stir and cook on low until combined.
  • 4Gradually add the milk and chicken broth and continue to stir until all lumps are dissolved. Add the shrimp and lemon juice and cook just until shrimp is heated through.
  • 5Serve over rice and stir fried veggies if desired.
