Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh caught, cleaned bluegill
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- - vegetable oil for frying
How To Make hoosier fried bluegill

Step 1Clean fish and pat dry with paper towels. Mix dry ingredients in a plastic bag. Place fish in bag one piece at a time and shake. Fry in a small amount of hot oil until outside is crispy and fish flakes easily with a fork. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
