Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- pinch salt
- pinch pepper
- 1 - egg, slightly beaten
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- - oil, for frying
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
How To Make honey sesame shrimp

Step 1Sift flour and salt and pepper into a bowl.

Step 2Make a well in the center, add egg and water, and gradually mix in the flour; beat to a smooth batter and set aside for 10 minutes

Step 3Meanwhile, toss shrimp in cornstarch and coat well; shake off any excess cornstarch.

Step 4Add shrimp to batter and coat well.

Step 5Heat oil in wok and add shrimp, a few at a time; cook until batter is golden.

Step 6Remove shrimp, drain on paper towels, and keep warm; repeat until all shrimp have been fried.

Step 7Carefully remove hot oil from wok.

Step 8Gently heat sesame oil in pan; add honey and stir until mixed well and heat through.

Step 9Add shrimp to mixture and toss well.

Step 10Sprinkle over sesame seeds and again toss well.

Step 11Serve immediately.
