Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    tuna steaks
  • MARINADE:

  • 3 Tbsp
    pineapple juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger, grated
  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    dry sherry

How to Make Hawaiian Tuna

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine marinade ingredients in a nonmetallic dish. Reserve 2-3 tablespoons marinade for basting.

    Drain fish from marinade. Coat fish with vegetable cooking spreay. Grill over hot coals 3 minutes.

    Turn. Brush wtih reserved marinade. Cook and additional 4-5 minutes.
  2. Add tuna. Marinate 15-20 minutes, turning once.
  3. Drain fish from marinade. Coat fish with vegetable cooking spray. Grill over hot coals 3 minutes.
  4. Turn. Brush with reserved marinade. Cook and additional 4-5 minutes.
