Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds tuna steaks
  • MARINADE:
  • 3 tablespoons pineapple juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry

How To Make hawaiian tuna

  • Step 1
    Combine marinade ingredients in a nonmetallic dish. Reserve 2-3 tablespoons marinade for basting. Drain fish from marinade. Coat fish with vegetable cooking spreay. Grill over hot coals 3 minutes. Turn. Brush wtih reserved marinade. Cook and additional 4-5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add tuna. Marinate 15-20 minutes, turning once.
  • Step 3
    Drain fish from marinade. Coat fish with vegetable cooking spray. Grill over hot coals 3 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Turn. Brush with reserved marinade. Cook and additional 4-5 minutes.
