Ingredients
- 1 pound halibut, cut into chunks
- 1 cup flour
- 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1.5 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 12 ounces beer, flat
How To Make halibut delight

Step 1Combine flour, garlic powder, curry powder, marjoram, baking powder and lemon pepper.

Step 2Mix well.

Step 3Slowly add enough flat beer to make a thick batter.

Step 4Dip halibut in batter and then roll in panko.

Step 5Let stand for 2 minutes.

Step 6Deep fry in 375 degree fat until golden brown.

Step 7Drain on absorbent paper and serve with a tartar sauce or a zesty tomato, horseradish sauce for dipping.
