Friends served this grilled trout at a dinner party we attended in 1963, and then shared the recipe with me. It continues to be my husbands favorite trout recipe after all these years.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 - trout, dressed
How To Make grilled trout

Step 1Prepare marinade by combining first 5 ingredients.

Step 2Pour marinade over trout in a shallow dish. Cover dish with plastic wrap, and place in refrigerator for 1 hour, turning once.

Step 3Remove trout from marinade and grill over medium-hot coals until done (10 to 15 minutes).
