Ingredients

  • PEACH BBQ SAUCE:
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce, low sodium
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups peaches, fresh or canned, drained
  • 1/8 cup lime juice
  • FISH:
  • 4 - tilapia fillets
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • - rice

How To Make grilled tilapia w/ peach bbq sauce

  • Step 1
    PEACH BBQ SAUCE: Mix all ingredients, except peaches, together in a saucepan & simmer over medium heat for 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Step 2
    While the sauce is simmering, puree 2 C of canned or fresh peaches. Once the sauce is cooked, add pureed peaches to the sauce & stir together.
  • Step 3
    Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Step 4
    FISH: Season fish with garlic powder, salt & pepper. Cook the fish on each side for 3 - 4 minutes. During last few minutes of cooking, brush fish with bbq sauce.
  • Step 5
    Once cooked & plated, ladle more peach bbq sauce on top of fillets. Serve over rice.
