Ingredients

  • 2 cups water, boiling
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 dashes paprika
  • 2 dashes montreal seasoning
  • 2 dashes seasoning salt
  • 2 dashes onion powder
  • 2 - salmon, skinless filet
  • - chopped scallions
  • - diced tomatoes

How To Make good 2 go salmon & rice

  • Step 1
First add two cups of water and 1 tablespoon of butter to a pot and let it boil. Once the water is boiling, add 1 cup of rice and stir for a minute or two, cover and let it remain on medium-high for about 3 minutes. Take the lid of stir it again and re cover. Turn the heat down to low and cook for about twenty minutes.
  • Step 2
In a pan, add 3 tablespoons of butter (you will need this amount because you are cooking the fish and veggies in it). Once the butter starts to melt, add in the spices: paprika, seasoning salt, onion powder and Montreal Seasoning. Add salmon fillets on top of that and cook on each side for about 3 to 4 minutes (depending on how well you like your salmon cooked) I like a bit of a crust on mine!
  • Step 3
Toss in the scallions and tomatoes at the end and cook for 2 more minutes. Scoop a spoonful or two rice onto your plate and add a fillet with a few veggies on top and enjoy!
