Ginger Shrimp with Udon noodles
My very very picky teenage daughters really love this dish! Hope your family does too!
Udon noodles can be found in the asian section of the grocery store. they look like asian fettucini.
1 1/2 lbshrimp, peeled and deveined medium sized
6 Tbspcanola oil
3 Tbspminced garlic
3 Tbspshredded ginger
3 Tbspfinely chopped shallots
6 ozsoy sauce
2 Tbsptoasted sesame seeds
1 pkgudon noodles, cooked according to package
How to Make Ginger Shrimp with Udon noodles
- In hot sautee pan fry garlic, ginger and shallots in butter and oil.
- add shrimp, sautee for about 3 minutes or until pink, turn and sautee another 2 minutes.
- add soy sauce, and continue cooking for about 3 minutes, or until sauce reduces.
- remove from heat and pour over prepared Udon noodles. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve :-)
