salmon filets, skin removed


2 Tbsp
fresh mint leaves, chopped
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
1 tsp
lime peel, grated
2 Tbsp
fresh lime juice
1 Tbsp
brown sugar, dark and firmly packed
1 tsp
ginger, grated
1 tsp
olive oil
1/2 tsp
freshly ground black pepper


1/2 c
sour cream
2 c
cilantro leaves
2 c
mint leaves, fresh
1/2 c
fresh parsley
jalapeno chile peppers, seeded and finely chopped
1 Tbsp
fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp
1/2 tsp

How to Make Ginger Glazed Salmon


  • 1Make Ginger Glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients in small bowl.
  • 2Place salmon in shallow glass dish and spoon on glaze, turning to coat. (Can be made ahead. Refrigerate up to 24 hours.)
  • 3Heat broiler.
  • 4Line jelly-roll pan with foil.
  • 5Arrange salmon on prepared pan and spoon glaze on top.
  • 6Broil 4 inches from heat without turning until fish is opaque throughout, 8 to 10 minutes.
  • 7Let stand 5 minutes.
  • 8Serve with Green Herb Sauce.
  • 9Green Herb Sauce: Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth, scraping down sides.
  • 10(Can be made ahead. Cover and refrigerate up to 8 hours.)
  • 11Makes 1 1/4 cups.
