Ingredients

  • 8 - salmon filets, skin removed
  • GLAZE INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lime peel, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, dark and firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cilantro leaves
  • 2 cups mint leaves, fresh
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 2 - jalapeno chile peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How To Make ginger glazed salmon

  • Step 1
    Make Ginger Glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients in small bowl.
  • Step 2
    Place salmon in shallow glass dish and spoon on glaze, turning to coat. (Can be made ahead. Refrigerate up to 24 hours.)
  • Step 3
    Heat broiler.
  • Step 4
    Line jelly-roll pan with foil.
  • Step 5
    Arrange salmon on prepared pan and spoon glaze on top.
  • Step 6
    Broil 4 inches from heat without turning until fish is opaque throughout, 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Let stand 5 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Serve with Green Herb Sauce.
  • Step 9
    Green Herb Sauce: Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth, scraping down sides.
  • Step 10
    (Can be made ahead. Cover and refrigerate up to 8 hours.)
  • Step 11
    Makes 1 1/4 cups.
