- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 12 ounces container fresh oysters, drained
- 2 - eggs, beaten

How To Make fried oysters

Step 1Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl. Dip oysters in egg, then dredgein meal mixture. Fry oysters in deep hot oil, 375 degrees for 1 1/2 minutes, or until golden, turning once. Serve right away. Makes 4 servings.
