Fresh Tuna In a Lemon Caper Sauce

2 lb
tuna steaks
vegetable oil
5 Tbsp
minced garlic cloves
3/4 c
chopped onion
1/2 c
fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp
capers, minced


1Brush tuna steaks with oil and broil or grill them until cooked through, about 5 minutes on each side.
2Meanwhile heat the butter in a frying pan and slowly saute the garlic and onion until softened, about 5 minutes.
3Stir in the lemon juice and capers and cook for 1 minute.
4Spoon the sauce over the tuna and serve immediately.
