  • 16 oz
    peas, frozen
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1 small
    finely chopped onion
  • 1
    garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 28 oz
    tomatoes italian style
  • 2 lb
    tuna steaks, cut into 1" cubes
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp

How to Make Fresh Tuna and Peas


  1. Rinse peas under cold water to separate.
  2. Drain.
  3. Heat oil in 12" skillet over medium high heat.
  4. Saute onion, garlic and parsley in oil.
  5. Stir in peas.
  6. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 4 minutes.
  7. Stir in tomatoes, tuna, salt and pepper.
  8. Break up tomatoes.
  9. Cover and cook 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
