Ingredients
- 4 large bass filets
- 2 teaspoons each salt and cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- olive oil
- 3 tablespoons soft butter
- juice and zest of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro minced
- lime wedges and more cilantro for garnish
How To Make fresh catch cajun bass with cilantro lime butter

Step 1Mix the salt, cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and pepper together. Rub over the outside of the fish fillets.

Step 2Mix the butter juice and zest of lime and cilantro together and set aside.

Step 3Add oil to large skillet. Once hot add the fillets and sear on one side. Turn over then add the butter mixture. Baste the fish with the butter mixture while continuing to cook. Turning fish one more time on each side. When fish is done it will be flaky and glistening.

Step 4Serve garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
