Ingredients
- 1 pound firm white fish, I used cod cut into 8 pieces
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 medium red onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small red bell pepper, sliced
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 cup frozen peas
- LEMON YOGURT SAUCE
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper
- fresh cilantro, chopped
How To Make fish stew with lemon yogurt sauce

Step 1Season the fish pieces with salt and pepper and set aside.

Step 2Mix the ingredients together for the yogurt sauce and set aside.

Step 3Place the oil in a large pan. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper and sauté for 5 minutes.

Step 4Add the spices and the tomatoes. Simmer 5 minutes.

Step 5Then add the peas and fish and simmer 5 more minutes.

Step 6Top with the yogurt sauce and cilantro.
