Ingredients

  • 1 medium
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne
  • 1/2 c
    masa harina
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 2 lb
    fish filets cut in bite-size pieces
  • 1 qt
    oil for frying

How to Make Fish Mcnuggetts

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oil to 350.
  2. In medium size bowl beat egg, milk, salt and pepper together.
  3. In another medium size bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  4. Dip nuggets into drench mix, drain and coat well in dredge.
  5. Carefully place few nuggets at a time into hot oil.
  6. Fish will float when golden brown and done. (About 2 minutes)
  7. Best to use electric fryer with basket.
  8. Drain onto paper towels, serve right now with tartar or cocktail sauce.
