Ingredients
- FOR THE SAUCE
- 4 tablespoons black bean sauce
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons shaoxing wine
- 1/4 cup chinese fermented black beans (optional)
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- FOR THE FISH
- 2 pounds fish fillets ( i used trout)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 - red bell pepper sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
How To Make fish in black bean sauce

Step 1Whisk the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside. Rub the cornstarch on the fish and set aside.

Step 2Add the oil to a wok or large skillet. Add the onion, and red bell pepper and saute until softened. Add the garlic fish and reserved sauce. Cook until fish is done.

Step 3Serve with rice
