Ingredients

  • 12 ounces lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, light
  • - vegetable cooking spray
  • - lemon slices
  • - green onion

How To Make far east crab cakes

  • Step 1
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well.
  • Step 2
    Shape crabmeat mixture into 8 patties.
  • Step 3
    Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Step 4
    Add crabmeat patties, and cook 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides, turning once.
  • Step 5
    Transfer to a serving platter.
  • Step 6
    If desired, garnish with lemon wedges and green onion.
