Ingredients

  • 2 pounds red snapper filet
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons parsley, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced shallots
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

How To Make dill herb fillets

  • Step 1
    Arrange fish in a single layer, oiled, shallow baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle with oil, parsley, shallots, dill and oregano.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees until flesh barely separates when tested with a fork--15 to 20 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Baste twice with pan juices while baking.
  • Step 5
    Remove fish to a serving dish.
  • Step 6
    Blend lemon juice into pan drippings, then pour over fish.
