Deviled Crab Casserole

When I was a young bride, I made this because I loved crabmeat. I live on the coast of Georgia where every summer we could net a bushel. My new husband was from middle GA, and crabmeat was not so exciting to him. He said he liked deviled crab, so I made this recipe up.

Convection Oven


1 box
(any flavor) stove top stuffing mix
water & butter for cooking stove top mix
1 pt
or more of crabmeat
1/2 Tbsp
lawry's seasoning salt
1 small
container of pimento cheese
1 Tbsp
1 pinch
black pepper to taste


1Make stuffing according to box directions (Microwave or Stove directions). In a large bowl incorporate all other ingredients into the cooked stuffing mix. Mix well.
2Put mixture into a baking dish and bake in a medium oven until thoroughly heated through.
...Approximately 10 minutes.
