Ingredients

  • 4 - 4 oz. - cod fillets
  • BOWL 1:
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • BOWL 2:
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • BOWL 3:
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs (japanese)
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons ranch salad dressing mix (dry)
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning

How To Make crumb coated fish filets

  • Step 1
    In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, pepper & salt.
  • Step 2
    In another shallow bowl, whisk eggs & water.
  • Step 3
    In a third shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, cheese, dressing mix & seasoning.
  • Step 4
    Coat filets with flour mixture, then dip in egg mixture & coat with crumb mixture.
  • Step 5
    Place filets on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 15 - 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork, turning once.
