Since everyone loves shrimp in my family, I made this a while back. It was great. Make sure you add a nice garden salad and garlic bread.

1 Tbsp
italian parsley, chopped
4 slice
thick cut bacon
1 box
angel hair pasta (i prefer linguinne)
shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 Tbsp
blackening seasoning
1 c
fresh pre-diced tomatoes
3/4 c
white wine
2 tsp
minced garlic
1/2 tsp
crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 c
scampi sauce
1 Tbsp
lemon juice, fresh

How to Make Creole Shrimp Saute'


  • 1Put water on to boil for pasta. Chop parsley. Cut bacon into bite size pieces.
  • 2Place bacon in large saute' pan on medium high; cook and stir bacon for 5-7 minutes or until bacon is almost done. Cook pasta following instructions on box. Sprinkle shrimp with blackening seasoning and add to bacon. Cook for 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes, garlic, wine and pepper flakes. Cook 2-3 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  • 3Stir in Scampi sauce and lemon juice. Top with parsley and serve over pasta.
