crabmeat and tofu patties

A very tasteful and healthier type of dish. Tofu is a soy based bean curd, which is very healthy. My dad loves this dish.

Ingredients

  • 21 ounces tofu, firm and well drained
  • 1 - egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons panko, japanese bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - pepper to taste
  • 1 can crabmeat, drained (6 oz.)
  • 2 ounces fresh mushroom or canned mushroom
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • DIPPING SAUCE:
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon ketsup
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

How To Make crabmeat and tofu patties

  • Step 1
    Crumble the tofu with a fork. Mix in the egg, lemon juice, panko, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Chop mushrooms, combine tofu and crab meat. Divide into eight patties, make the patties about 3/4 of an inch thick.
  • Step 3
    Heat the vegetable oil in s skillet over medium-high heat. Grill patties for 3 minutes, then flip them over and grill for 3 minutes, should be golden brown.
  • Step 4
    Mix together all the ingredients for the dipping sauce. Serve with crab meat patties. YUMMMO!!!
