An extremely easy and elegant way to serve crab. I put it into Scallop Shells I bought at a cooking store, but you can use ramekins also. Delicious and rich. I found this 35 years ago in Yankee Magazine!

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    fresh crabmeat
  • 2
    hardooked eggs- chopped
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp
    grated onion
  • 1 tsp
    chopped parsley
  • 1 c
    buttered breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 3 Tbsp
    sherry

How to Make Crab with Sherry in Shells

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all the ingredients, reserving a half cup of the buttered breadcrumbs. Spoon mixture into scallop shells or ramekins and top with the remaining crumbs
  2. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes
