Ingredients
- 8 cups sour dough bread diced
- 1 small diced onions
- 2 - stacks small diced celery
- 1 - bulb small diced fennel
- 2 medium small diced carrots
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound crab meat
- 2 tablespoons chopped thyme
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 6 - beatens eggs
- 4 cups 1/2 and 1/2 cream
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- - salt and pepper to taste

Step 1In a heavy skillet, heat the butter on medium heat until it stops foaming. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté until the onions begin to soften and become fragrant. (about 5 min) Add the garlic and thyme leaves and cook 1 more minute. Place veggie mixture in a large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Place in an ovenproof casserole dish and bake in a preheated 400-degree oven until browned and firm. ( about 25 min) Let rest about 10 min before serving.
