Ingredients

8 c
sour dough bread diced
1 small
diced onions
2
stacks small diced celery
1
bulb small diced fennel
2 medium
small diced carrots
2 clove
crushed garlic
2 Tbsp
butter
1 lb
crab meat
2 Tbsp
chopped thyme
2 Tbsp
chopped parsley
6
beatens eggs
4 c
1/2 and 1/2 cream
1/2 tsp
dry mustard
salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1In a heavy skillet, heat the butter on medium heat until it stops foaming.
Add the chopped vegetables and sauté until the onions begin to soften and become fragrant. (about 5 min)
Add the garlic and thyme leaves and cook 1 more minute.
Place veggie mixture in a large mixing bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Place in an ovenproof casserole dish and bake in a preheated 400-degree oven until browned and firm. ( about 25 min)
Let rest about 10 min before serving.
