Ingredients
- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup bell pepper finely chopped
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
- 1 pound cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 3 - egg yolks, well beaten
How To Make crab meat augratin

Step 1In sauce pan melt butter on medium heat.

Step 2Add onions, green onion, garlic, celery, bell pepper and simmer 5 minutes.

Step 3Add flour a little at a time stirring until all mixed.

Step 4Cook 5 more minutes stirring constantly, make sure no flour sticks; be sure your stove is on low.

Step 5Slowly add whipping cream, stirring constantly until all is added.

Step 6Add cream cheese and blend until melted. Cook until mixture thickens.

Step 7Stir in salt, peppers, egg yolks stir another 1-2 minutes.

Step 8Add panko crumbs.

Step 9Remove from heat and fold in crab meat and half of the cheddar cheese until mixed well.

Step 10Try not to break up lumps of crab meat too much.

Step 11Put in a greased dish and spread remaining cheese on top.

Step 12Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese begins to brown.
