Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crab meat, picked clean
  • 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 3 - green onions, sliced, green and white parts
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 - lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup oil, for frying

How To Make crab cakes

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients except oil. Shape into patties and coat with extra bread crumbs. Pan fry in hot oil over medium heat for 4 - 5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Step 2
    Serve with your favorite Tarter or Roumalade sauce.
