raw prawns (or shrimp) in shell
2 can(s)
(403 ml) can coconut milk
2-4 clove
garlic, minced
2 tsp
ginger root, peeled and minced
1/2 tsp
sea salt
1/2 tsp
freshly ground black pepper

How to Make Coconut Shrimp (Paleo) GFCF


  • 1Wash prawns or shrimp, but do not shell them.
  • 2Place prawns into a medium saucepan with coconut milk, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  • 3Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  • 4Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Stir frequently.
  • 5Remove from shells and serve warm.
