Ingredients
- 1/4 pound snow pea pods, trimmed
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 - garlic clove, crushed
- 3/4 pound king crab meat, frozen
- 3/4 pound mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 cup poultry stock
- 2 - scallions, sliced
How To Make chinese king crab with mushrooms and snow peas

Step 1Steam snow pea pods for 5 minutes.

Step 2Place in bottom of serving dish and keep warm.

Step 3In a large skillet, heat oil until very hot but not smoking.

Step 4Add garlic an saute until golden. Remove.

Step 5Add crab meat and toss, cooking for 1 minute.

Step 6Stir in mushrooms and cook for 1 minute more.

Step 7Add stock and pepper and bring to a boil.

Step 8Add cornstarch mixed with 1/2 cup of cold water until the cornstarch is dissolved and cook, stirring until sauce thickens.

Step 9Pour over snow pea pods, sprinkle with ginger and toss to mix.

Step 10Sprinkle with scallions and serve hot with cooked brown rice.
