Ingredients

  • 2 cups leftover cooked catfish
  • 1 cup cold mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oil

How To Make catfish fritters

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients, except for the oil; mix well. Shape into patties; dredge in flour. Fry fish cakes in hot oil about 10 minutes or until golden brown, turning once; drain well. Serve with cocktail sauce.
