cajun style red snapper fillet
This is an excellent way to prepare fresh red snapper. It's traditionally served with Cajun-style Red Beans and Rice.

Ingredients
- 4 - red snapper fillets (or 1 1/2 to 2 lb snapper, cleaned and cut into 4 pieces
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh italian (flat-leaf) parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 - green onion, chopped
How To Make cajun style red snapper fillet

Step 1Rinse fish and pat dry; set aside.

Step 2In a shallow dish, stir together the flour, Cajun season, parsley, salt and pepper. Dredge each fillet in the flour mixture.

Step 3Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add coated fillets, skin side down, in the hot butter. Cook 4 to 5 minutes or until skin is crisp. Using a spatula, carefully turn fillets and cook other side another 3 to 4 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Step 4Garnish with chopped green onion, and serve alongside your favorite Cajun-style Red Beans and Rice.
