Ingredients

  • 4 - catfish, halibut, grouper, or snapper fish fillets
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup green onions minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 pound crab meat fresh chopped
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley minced
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • - salt and pepper
  • SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make cajun crab stuffed fish fillets

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in skillet. Saute onions and garlic until soft. Remove from heat. Stir in crabmeat, bread crumbs, heavy cream parsley, cajun seasoning and salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Lay one fillet in sprayed baking pan. Top with half the stuffing mixture. Lay another fillet on top. Repeat with other two fillets.
  • Step 3
    In a saucepan mix the sauce ingredients together until well incorporated. Pour over fillets and bake at 350 degrees in oven for about 30 minutes. Basting with sauce.
  • Step 4
    Cut fillets in half serve with sauce over top
