brown sugar and honey glazed salmon
This recipe came from my ex-husband who is a great cook in his own right. It is my oldest sons favorite. It's not difficult at all and looks and tastes wonderful. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon finely grated ginger
- 2 dashes salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- - vegetable oil
- 4 - salmon steaks 6 ounces each
How To Make brown sugar and honey glazed salmon

Step 1In a small saucepan, melt the brown sugar, honey and butter over medium high heat until butter is melted.

Step 2Remove from heat and whisk in mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and ginger. Allow to cool.

Step 3Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 4Coat salmon steaks with a little bit of vegetable oil and place in the skillet.

Step 5Coat the flesh of the salmon with the brown sugar mixture.

Step 6If you like your salmon medium cook it for about 8 minutes turning 1/2 way through. If you like your salmon more well done cook it 15 minutes turning 1/2 way through.

Step 7Plate and pour extra sauce over the salmon. Enjoy.
