Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds salmon, fresh, skinned and boned
  • - vegetable oil
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 2/3 tablespoon ginger
  • 2/3 tablespoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 ounce sesame oil

How To Make bourbon-marinated smoked salmon

  • Step 1
    Place salmon in large shallow dish; cover with vegetable oil.
  • Step 2
    Mix all other ingredients together to make marinade; marinate 6 hours or overnight.
  • Step 3
    Grill over mesquite until flaky.
