Ingredients
- 4 black cod or sablefish filets
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 thumb-size ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- jasmine rice, for serving
- fresh basil, for garnish
How To Make black cod with ginger honey soy glaze

Step 1Mix the honey, soy saucy, rice vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil together. Place the fish into the sauce and marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 2Place the oil in an oven safe pan. Remove the fish from the marinade and reserve the marinade. Cook the fish in the oil 5 minutes each side. Meanwhile strain the sauce through a fine mesh strainer. Pour into a saucepan and add the chicken stock. Bring to a boil and let reduce for about 7 minutes. Add the green onions.

Step 3Plate the rice then the fish brush the sauce over the fish and pour around the fish.
