This is an easy recipe for fried fish! Great for at home dinners and for camping trips!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fish fillets, your choice
  • 1 1/4 cups biscuit mix, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • - vegetable oil

How To Make beer-batter fish

  • Step 1
    Coat fish fillets with 1/4 cup biscuit mix; set aside.
  • Step 2
    Combine remaining 1 cup biscuit mix, salt, egg, and beer; stir until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Dip each fillet into beer mixture; fry in deep hot vegetable oil (350 degrees) for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden and fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
