- 1 pound fish fillets, your choice
- 1 1/4 cups biscuit mix, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup beer
- - vegetable oil
How To Make beer-batter fish

Step 1Coat fish fillets with 1/4 cup biscuit mix; set aside.

Step 2Combine remaining 1 cup biscuit mix, salt, egg, and beer; stir until smooth.

Step 3Dip each fillet into beer mixture; fry in deep hot vegetable oil (350 degrees) for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden and fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
