Ingredients

  • MARINADE:
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup honey
  • FISH:
  • 6 - 6 oz. - salmon fillets
  • - salt & pepper, to taste
  • GLAZE:
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

How To Make balsamic honey bourbon glazed salmon

  • Step 1
    Whisk bourbon & honey; mix well.
  • Step 2
    Place fish in resealable plastic bag set in bowl. Place fish in & pour over marinade. Marinade in refrigerator (skin side up) for overnight for flavors to marry. Discard marinade.
  • Step 3
    In small bowl, combine mix honey, bourbon, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic & salt. Refrigerate overnight for flavors to marry as well.
  • Step 4
    Season flesh side of fillets with salt; place skin side down in a shallow baking pan.
  • Step 5
    Roast at 500 degrees F. for 5 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Drizzle 1 Tbsp glaze over each fillet.
  • Step 7
    Roast at 500 degrees F. for 3 - 5 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Remove salmon to serving plates & drizzle 1 Tbsp remaining glaze over each fillet.
