I love this sauce over fresh catch big mouth bass.

Ingredients

  • 1 white fish or bass filets
  • salt
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups Mexican crema or sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons lime juice

How To Make baked white fish with cilantro sauce

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in a medium skillet. Saute the onion and garlic for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Place the onion, garlic, crema, salt, lime juice, and cilantro in a blender and process until it's a green sauce.
  • Step 3
    Season the fish with salt and place in a baking dish. Pour the sauce over the fish. Move the fish around so the sauce is under the fish.
  • Step 4
    Bake about 20 minutes depending on how thick your fish are.
