plain lowfat yogurt
2 Tbsp
reduced calorie mayonnaise
1 tsp
capers, drained
1/2 tsp
white wine vinegar
1/4 tsp
lemon pepper
4 ounce salmon steaks
1 small
onion, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp
dry white wine
1 tsp
dried dill
lemon slices
fresh dill sprigs

How to Make Baked Salmon with Caper Sauce


  • 1Combine first five ingredients, mixing well.
  • 2Cover and chill, rinse salmon and pat dry.
  • 3Place in 1 quart baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  • 4Arrange onion slices over salmon, pour wine over salmon and sprinkle with dill.
  • 5Cover and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  • 6Disard oinion and dill (if fresh).
  • 7Transfer to individual serving plates.
  • 8Spoon 2 tablespoons of caper sauce over each salmon steak and garnish with lemon slices and fresh dill if desired.
