Ingredients
- 4 - boneless, skinless salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 to 1 cups onions, chopped
- - panko bread crumbs
- - butter
- - salt and pepper
How To Make baked salmon fillets
-
Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place salmon fillets in an oven proof baking dish. Lightly brush on extra virgin olive oil, both sides. Season lightly with salt and pepper
-
Step 2Chop onions and mix with mayonnaise. May have to add more depending on how much onions you use. Spread onion and mayo mixture over fillets. Spread panko bread crumbs to cover onion and mayo mixture. Dot with small pieces of butter all over the top of the panko, which will melt and will brown.
-
Step 3Place on middle rack of your oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Tip: just before the salmon is done, you can turn on the broiler for a few seconds to achieve a nice golden brown color. Serve with salad of choice.
