Ingredients
- FISH
- 4 - 8-ounce halibut steaks
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 - lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped
- SOUR CREAM-DILL SAUCE
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon dried dillweed
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
How To Make baked halibut with sour cream-dill sauce

Step 1For the fish: Place steaks in an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Pour broth over the steaks; drizzle with butter.

Step 2Sprinkle with the garlic, salt, marjoram, and pepper. Top with the lemon slices. Sprinkle with parsley.

Step 3Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Serve with the sauce.

Step 4For the sauce, combine all ingredients. Chill.
