My husband's cousin has a fishing charter boat in Homer, Alaska, and sent us a bunch of halibut fillets, frozen solid. I had never had these before, but now, I can't get enough!

  • dash(es)
    lawry's seasoned salt
  • dash(es)
    pepper
  • dash(es)
    garlic powder
  • 3 c
    4c seasoned bread crumbs
  • 16
    halibut fingers
  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    milk

How to Make Baked Halibut Fingers

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheer with aluminum foil, and spray with cooking spray, such as Crisco, or Pam.
  2. Combine mile and egg in bowl. Rinse and dry the fish. Sprinkle seasoned salt, then pepper, then garlic powder.
  3. Place in egg wash. In separate bowl, place seasoned breadcrumbs. Take fish from egg wash and cover with seasoned breadcrumbs.
  4. Place on aluminum-lined cookie sheet. Cut slices of butter on each piece of fish. Place slices of butter between fish also.
  5. Place in oven, bake for 20 minutes, turning fish once after 10 minutes. Serve with rice, or french fries and hush puppies! Enjoy!
