baked haddock chowder

I didn't feel like peeling and cooking potatoes,cutting onions etc so I got out my slicer. family loved it,especially with less milk/cream as chowder. I will wait until potatoes almost done next before adding fish. I think anyone can add or omit..it was just a idea that turned out tasty

Ingredients
- pkg. slice lean salt pork
- 6-8 large potatoes,unpeeled,sliced thin
- 2 large onions sliced thin
- 1 can evaporated milk
- tablespoon flour,or corn starch
- pinch salt and pepper
- 4-6 slices butter patty's
- 1-2 pound fresh haddock/ or your choice
How To Make baked haddock chowder

Step 1lay sliced salt pork on botton of large baking dish,then continue to layer sliced potatoes,sliced onions. top with a few slices of butter.

Step 2whisp flour and milk together until nice and smooth. add salt and pepper to taste. Pour over all.

Step 3cover with foil. bake for 1/2 hr then add fish on top of all, replace foil. check several times until potatoes are fork tender and fish is done.
