This is one of Paula Deen's recipes from her magazine. It calls for Dijon Mustard, but my family doesn't like it, so I leave it out.

Ingredients For baked fish sticks

  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 c
    crushed round buttery crackers, (i use ritz)
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 lb
    tiapia fillets, cut into 3-inch fingers

How To Make baked fish sticks

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a shallow dish, combine melted butter and mustard.

    In a separate shallow dish, combine crushed crackers, cheese, and salt.
  • 4
    Coat tilapia in butter mixture; dredge in cracker mixture. Place on prepared baking sheet, and bake for 6 minutes. Turn fish stick, and bake for 6 minutes longer, or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
