    fresh fish filets
  • ·
    "just a pinch" of salt
  • ·
    "just a pinch" of pepper
  • 1/4 lb
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp
    paprika
  • 3 Tbsp
    white wine, dry

How to Make Baked Fish Filet

Step-by-Step

  1. Salt and pepper filets.
  2. Put butter in shallow baking dish in hot oven 400-500 degrees, until browned.
  3. The browned butter gives the distinctive flavor.
  4. Place filets in hot butter, baste with lemon juice and white wine and return dish to oven for 10-15 minutes.
