Ingredients
- 2 pounds catfish filets
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind, grated
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
How To Make baked catfish and pecans

Step 1Make pecan sauce by combining 1/4 cup butter, chopped pecans, lemon juice and worcestershire sauce and blend well.

Step 2Combine flour, salt, pepper and lemon rind.

Step 3Roll filets in mixture, coating well.

Step 4Melt 1/4 cup butter in large skillet.

Step 5Brown filets over medium heat until light brown; turn once to brown both sides.

Step 6Place filets in well-greased 12x8x2 baking dish.

Step 7Sprinkle pecan butter sauce over filets.

Step 8Sprinkle with additional chopped pecans if desired.

Step 9Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
