Ingredients
- SALMON
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 salmon fillets skin on
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- GLAZE
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons each brown sugar, soy sauce, and mirin
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
How To Make asian glazed salmon fillets

Step 1Heat the oven 350 degrees. For the glaze combine all the ingredients except water and cornstarch and bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch and water together and whisk into the glaze. Turn the heat down and cook 2 minutes to thicken a bit.

Step 2for the salmon Combine the brown sugar, salt and cornstarch. Press the sugar rub into the flesh side of the fish until it sticks. Heat a large nonstick skillet and place the fish flesh side down and cook 3 minutes.

Step 3Flip the salmon to the skin side and pour the glaze over the flesh side. place in oven and cook 6 to 8 minutes depending on how thick the fish is.
